Kelcey Flowers
Kelcey Flowers joined the Council in December 2025 as the Youth Programming Coordinator. A Pittsburgh native, Kelcey recently returned home after completing her Peace Corps service in the Dominican Republic, where she worked as a Youth Development Facilitator. In her role there, she partnered with a rural school community to lead girls’ empowerment clubs, environmental education activities, dance workshops, and life-skills classes for middle-grade students.
Before the Peace Corps, she volunteered as a tutor supporting incarcerated youth preparing for their GED exams. Earlier, Kelcey’s own global journey began as a participant in the World Affairs Council’s Global Travel Scholars program, traveling abroad at age 17 to study Spanish language and culture in Spain.
Kelcey supports the Council’s youth programs, with a special focus on Global Minds.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading widely, caring for her cats, listening to live music, and exploring new places whenever she can.
