World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh announces new brand, strategic plan
From Pittsburgh Business Times:
The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh is rebranding.
The nonpartisan, nonprofit organization says that it is changing to further realize its vision, launching a new three-year strategic plan along with the rebrand. The plan will focus on the “Theory of Change,” with an emphasis being placed on working in partnership with young people, educators, business leaders and the community-at-large to carry out the organization’s mission.
The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh works to connect people around global issues, ultimately trying to build Pittsburgh into a more competitive and inclusive city.
“We are not only reflecting on how the Council has grown and changed over our 90 years, but also how our region and world has changed during a global pandemic,” World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh president and CEO, Betty Cruz, said. “We are building on the Council’s legacy, while adapting to changing circumstances and looking ahead to realize our goal of a globally connected world.”
