World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh announces 2023 Illuminate Award winners

The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh announced the recipients of the Illuminate Awards. The awards, according to a press release from the organization, recognize leaders who make a difference in “advancing global mindedness and connection in the Pittsburgh region as a community leader, business leader, educator and youth figure.”

 

The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh is a nonprofit organization that describes itself as “dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of key contemporary international issues throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our mission is to convene and connect people around global issues to build a competitive, thriving and inclusive Pittsburgh.”

The award recipients for this year were Angela Garcia, Brett Rondon, Carolina Loyola-Garcia and Sasha Ahmad.
