World Affairs Institute: The AI Effect

Now in its 55th year, the World Affairs Institute brings together students, professionals, educators, and community members from across the region for a day of global learning and collaboration.

The theme for 2026, The AI Effect, explores how artificial intelligence is shaping our region and world. Through expert talks and interactive sessions, we’ll examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping industries, governance, and global relationships and what this transformation means for Pittsburgh’s future.
