Marilyn Horton

Marilyn is currently studying Criminal Justice & Legal Studies at Robert Morris University. She quickly fell in love with Pittsburgh’s character and charm. Before moving to Pittsburgh, she spent 5 and 1/2 years in the United States Navy. During her time in the service, Marilyn was deployed to countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Through her international experience, Marilyn learned about many different cultures, customs, and traditions. This inspired her to be an advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion. Marilyn is passionate about contributing to the Pittsburgh region and its residents, which led her to the Council.
