Joe Poskin

Joe Poskin joined the Council in June 2016 and oversees operations and human resource services for the World Affairs Council. Serving as the Council’s accessibility coordinator, he ensures that all aspects of the Council’s operations and offerings are accessible and inclusive. Before joining the team, he provided logistical support at Mentoring USA, an international nonprofit based in New York City that creates supportive mentorships for children and young adults. Joe also spent a year teaching English at a university in Bangkok. While living there, he enjoyed learning Thai, connecting with colleagues from across the globe, and traveling throughout Southeast Asia. Joe graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Kentucky, which is located in Lexington, his hometown.
