About the Program

Join us for an interactive conversation with bestselling author and religious scholar Reza Aslan!

Reza will speak on his recent book, An American Martyr in Persia: The Epic Life and Tragic Death of Howard Baskerville, in conversation with Saleem Ghubril, Council Board Chair and Executive Director of The Pittsburgh Promise. There will also be an opportunity before and after the program to get your copy signed!

An American Martyr in Persia: A Conversation with Reza Aslan will take place on November 21, 2022 at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Doors open  at 5PM. The program will run from 6PM–7:30PM with time for a moderated Q&A with the audience. Reza Aslan will be signing and personalizing books purchased at the event from White Whale Bookstore. This event is no cost and open to the public.
